This was supposed to be a super inspiring post talking about how Ethan Swanson (otherwise known as the Swan Ninja from American Ninja Warrior) inspired me via his back flip challenge (#backflipchallenge) where he was doing a back flip every day. On ANW in 2020 they showed all this awesome and inspiring video of him doing back flips in cool places and with big groups of people and I wanted to inspire my fellow writers to take the NaNoWriMo writing challenge of writing every day in the month of November to a new level (I am personally on day 6, #writingwordseveryday).
So why am I not posting this video? After spending half an hour in Google search hell, and stalking the man on both YouTube and Twitter, I cannot find this footage. I'm super bummed because while the video I'm linking to is cool, this guy rarely includes others in his back flip journey and is more about "hey, look how awesome I am" rather than making it an inspiring, community activity. Also, supposedly the Swan Ninja has been doing this for several years, not just one year and not for any monetary endorsement.
I know, I know, professional writers do this all the time, but I'm talking about us amateurs. Doesn't have to be even a whole paragraph, just at least a sentence every day. Anyways, let's see if we can blow the 30 days of NaNoWriMo out of the water! Who's with me?
