So, recently it was recommended to me that I join Tik Tok and then my publisher also asked if I had a Tik Tok presence. In light of all this sudden toking about Tik Tok (yuk yuk), I decided to set up an account. I have to say that so far, this has not only been a major frustration, wasting hours of my life, but also caused my Facebook to crash and me to get temporarily blocked on Facebook.
For some reason that the internet has only been able to explain as either a harmless glitch or me getting "shadowblocked," I cannot follow or like other people's videos and after a very exciting initial bout of views and likes lasting a couple of days, I now am getting 0 watches, 0 likes, and 0 follows. I also had one of my videos with stock video editing software background music muted for sound copyright infringement.
When I tried all of the recommended "fixes" for this "glitch," I ended up clearing my internet cache and that's when all hell broke loose with Facebook and some other websites.
Kinda at my wits end here and don't know what to do. I have to assume that deleting my account and trying to set up a new account will only make the problem worse.
I'm on FaceBook, I'm on Twitter, I have an Instagram account, I have a Pintrest account, and I have a YouTube channel, and I've never had so much difficulty with a social media platform before!
